    Description

    Responsibilities :

    • Lead and manage the Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) operations team responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure and services.
    • Oversee the daytoday operations of IaaS platforms, including compute, storage, networking, and virtualization technologies, to ensure high availability, scalability, and performance.
    • Develop and implement ITILbased processes and procedures for incident management, change management, and problem management to maintain service levels and minimize disruptions.
    • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including system administrators, network engineers, and security analysts, to design and implement infrastructure solutions that meet business requirements and compliance standards.
    • Manage and optimize cloud resources, including cost management, capacity planning, and performance tuning, to ensure efficient resource utilization and costeffectiveness.
    • Define and enforce security policies, standards, and controls for cloud infrastructure and services to protect against cyber threats and ensure data privacy and compliance.
    • Monitor infrastructure performance, health, and security posture, and implement proactive measures to identify and mitigate risks, vulnerabilities, and performance bottlenecks.
    • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the IaaS operations team, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and career development.
    • Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies, trends, and best practices, and assess their potential impact on the organization's infrastructure and operations.

    Requirements :

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
    • Indepth knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, including infrastructure components, services, and management tools.
    • Strong understanding of ITIL processes and best practices for IT service management, including incident, change, problem, and configuration management.
    • Experience with infrastructure automation and orchestration tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet for provisioning and managing cloud resources.
    • Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and firewall configurations, for designing and implementing cloud networks.
    • Familiarity with cloud security principles, controls, and best practices, including identity and access management, data encryption, and security monitoring and logging.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical audiences.
    • Strong problemsolving, analytical, and decisionmaking skills to diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure issues and implement effective solutions.
    • Certification in cloud computing platforms (e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator Associate) and ITIL certification preferred.

    Skills :

    • Cloud Platforms : Proficiency in managing and administering cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, including infrastructure components, services, and management tools.
    • ITIL Framework : Strong understanding of ITIL processes and best practices for IT service management, including incident, change, problem, and configuration management.
    • Infrastructure Automation : Experience with infrastructure automation and orchestration tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet for provisioning and managing cloud resources.
    • Networking: Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and firewall configurations, for designing and implementing cloud networks.
    • Security : Familiarity with cloud security principles, controls, and best practices, including identity and access management, data encryption, and security monitoring and logging.

    Preferred :

    • Experience with containerization and orchestration platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift for deploying and managing containerized applications.
    • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for automating infrastructure deployment, configuration management, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
    • Experience with cloud cost optimization strategies and tools for monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing cloud spending and resource utilization.
    • Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements and industry standards related to cloud security and data privacy (e.g, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS).)
