    Description

    About the Role :

    • We are seeking a highly experienced IT Security Architect to join our team and play a critical role in safeguarding our organization's IT infrastructure and data.
    • You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security architectures that align with industry best practices and regulatory compliance requirements.

    Responsibilities :

    Security Architecture & Design :

    • Develop and implement secure configuration management processes to ensure consistent security posture across systems.
    • Evaluate proposed security architectures and designs against security requirements outlined in acquisition documents.
    • Leverage your understanding of NIST Rev 5 to design and implement secure solutions.

    Security Documentation & Compliance :

    • Create and maintain comprehensive System Security Plans (SSPs) that document security policies, procedures, and controls.
    • Ensure security architectures comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.

    Cloud Security Expertise :

    • Possess indepth knowledge of cloud infrastructure security for multitenant environments.
    • Design and implement security controls to protect data and applications in the cloud.

    Multi-Layered Security :

    • Apply your knowledge of multilevel security (MLS) systems and crossdomain solutions to safeguard sensitive information.

    Security Integration & Collaboration :

    • Skillfully integrate cybersecurity requirements into proposed solutions to ensure optimal security posture.
    • Proactively identify and address potential cybersecurity and privacy risks associated with internal and external connections.

    Communication & Collaboration :

    • Collaborate effectively with IT teams, business stakeholders, and security vendors to achieve security objectives.
    • Clearly communicate complex security concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences.

    Required Skills & Qualifications :

    • 5+ years of experience as an IT Security Architect or a related security role.
    • Proven track record of designing, implementing, and maintaining secure IT architectures.
    • Indepth understanding of security principles, frameworks (e.g., NIST , and best practices.
    • Strong knowledge of system security plans (SSPs) and their creation process.
    • Expertise in cloud security for multitenant environments.
    • Familiarity with multilevel security (MLS) systems and crossdomain solutions.
    • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

    Bonus Points :

    • Experience in a similar industry or domain.
    • Certifications in security frameworks (e.g. , CISSP, CISA).
    • Experience with security automation tools.
