    Description

    • Review and interpret FOPM mechanical assembly drawings and Bill of Materials (BOM) to ensure clear understanding of product requirements.
    • Lead and coordinate the shop floor assembly team in efficiently building products according to design and drawings.
    • Identify and resolve assembly line issues, including troubleshooting mechanical problems and implementing corrective actions.
    • Work collaboratively with design engineers to clarify design intent and provide feedback on manufacturability. Thorough understanding of DFM & DFA.
    • Develop and implement assembly procedures, ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety protocols.
    • Maintain accurate documentation of assembly processes, including revisions and updates.

    Requirements



    • Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
    • Minimum 8+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with experience in leading shop floor assembly.
    • Strong understanding of mechanical assembly principles and practices.
    • Excellent knowledge of mechanical drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and Bill of Materials (BOM).
    • Proven ability to troubleshoot and solve complex mechanical problems.
    • Experience in implementing and maintaining quality control procedures.
    • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
