    Job Title: Integration Engineer

    Job Description:

    Summary:

    As an Integration Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless data exchange between various systems and platforms. This role involves understanding data exchange formats such as EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) and cXML, analyzing data feeds provided by clients and vendors, transforming data using ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools, and establishing integrations between systems. The ideal candidate will have experience with ETL tools, proficiency in troubleshooting data exchange issues, and the ability to collaborate with clients and vendors to maintain integrations effectively.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Data Exchange Formats:

    Understand and work with various data exchange formats, including but not limited to EDI and cXML.

    Stay updated on industry standards and best practices for data exchange and integration.

    2. Data Analysis and Verification:

    Analyze data feeds provided by clients and vendors to ensure data quality and integrity.

    Develop validation processes to verify the accuracy and completeness of data exchanged.

    3. ETL Transformation:

    Use ETL tools to transform data from external sources into proprietary internal formats.

    Develop and maintain ETL workflows to automate data transformation processes.

    4. Integration Establishment:

    Partner with clients and vendors to establish and maintain integrations between systems.

    Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand integration requirements and implement solutions accordingly.

    5. Monitoring and Troubleshooting:

    Monitor integrated systems for performance concerns and connection stability.

    Proactively troubleshoot data exchange issues and implement resolutions in a timely manner.

    6. Corepoint Integration Server:

    Utilize Corepoint Integration Server or similar integration platforms to streamline integration processes.

    Leverage platform capabilities to facilitate data mapping, transformation, and routing.

    7. Documentation and Communication:

    Document configured integrations with clients and vendors, including data mapping, transformation rules, and connection details.

    Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and vendors to ensure alignment on integration requirements and expectations.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

    Proven experience as an Integration Engineer or similar role, with a focus on data exchange and integration.

    Strong understanding of data exchange formats such as EDI, cXML, and others.

    Proficiency in ETL tools and techniques for data transformation and manipulation.

    Experience with integration platforms such as Corepoint Integration Server is preferred.

    Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve complex integration issues.

    Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.

    Detail-oriented approach with a focus on documenting integration processes and configurations.

    Preferred Skills:

    Familiarity with healthcare or supply chain industries, which often utilize EDI for data exchange.

    Knowledge of API integration principles and RESTful web services.

    Experience with data mapping and schema definition tools.
