    Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant - IT DBA Administrator.

    The DBA Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining our organization's databases, ensuring data integrity, security, and optimal performance.

    This role plays a critical part in supporting our business operations and data-driven decision-making.
    Responsibilities

    Database Design and Optimization:
    Design, implement, and optimize database structures, schemas, and tables to meet business requirements.

    Data Security:
    Implement security measures, including access controls, encryption, and user authentication, to protect sensitive data.

    Backup and Recovery:
    Develop and manage database backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and business continuity.

    Performance Monitoring:
    Monitor database performance, identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, and optimize database resources.

    Data Migration and Upgrades:
    Plan and execute database migrations, updates, and version upgrades as needed.

    User Management:
    Manage user accounts, roles, and permissions within the database system.

    Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:
    Diagnose and resolve database system issues and discrepancies promptly.

    SQL Query Optimization:
    Optimize SQL queries and stored procedures for efficient data retrieval and manipulation.

    Documentation:
    Create and maintain detailed documentation related to database configurations, processes, and procedures.

    Vendor and Service Provider Management:
    Collaborate with database software vendors and service providers to ensure effective delivery of database services.
    Qualifications we seek in you
    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in IS, Computer Science, MIS Management, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
    • Relevant certifications, such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP),

    Microsoft Certified:
    Azure Database Administrator Associate, or equivalent, are preferred.

    • Excellent Communication and interpersonal Skills
    Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
    Proven experience as an IT Network Engineer with hands-on experience in network design, configuration, and troubleshooting.
    Proven experience as an IT Database Administrator (DBA) with hands-on experience in database administration and management.

    Strong knowledge of database systems, including Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, or others.
    Proficiency in database security, backup and recovery, and performance tuning.
    Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
    Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    Knowledge of database best practices and emerging technologies.
    Experience with cloud-based databases (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database) is a plus
