    Description

    Title: SW Web Tech Lead

    Mission:

    Web portal is one of the main channels of interactions with our customers, enabling customer subscription for connected services. We start our customer's journey with our web portal, even before they have purchased one of our vehicles, and even when they are far away from their car. Web portal for connected vehicles present additional challenges due to the complexity of the cloud systems and the regulatory requirements specific to the automobile industry.

    Be a key person for this specialized and challenging mission as a Tech Lead for Web application. Lead the development of our exciting Web applications, understand requirements, architecture and high-level design, ensure that development and testing happen according to the code quality best practices. You will be the technical lead and mentor of developers, train and guide them to become "best in class". You will work closely with Product Management and development teams to satisfy business requirements for new features and translating them into a web app solution, while working with Architects to realize the common vision. You will be responsible for code review and will control the entirety of the code produced by the team, being responsible for its quality. Act as a technical advisor to application development teams to plan, implement, and support new and existing mobile applications and features.

    You will join the Development team under our Development Manager within the Channels organization.

    Primary responsibilities can include:

    • Design, develop, and maintain modular and reusable Angular components within a micro frontend architecture.
    • Develop responsive and high-performance user interfaces using Angular.
    • Implement micro frontend patterns to enable independent development and deployment of UI components.
    • Build scalable architecture and help other developers to contribute to the overall frontend architecture and design decisions.
    • Ensure consistency and coherence across different micro frontends, maintaining a unified and user-friendly experience.
    • Support the app developer community, perform and guide code reviews, and maintain a rich set of documentation.
    • Write and help write unit tests, verify and guarantee code coverage and quality.
    • Lead security evaluation and analysis process: vulnerabilities, remediation plan, static and dynamic code analysis.
    • Perform and support system-level troubleshooting when necessary.
    • Works with the agile community (Scrum master, Product owner, Designers, Architects) to detect dependencies and coordinate with other stakeholders.
    • Be part of a virtual team of mobile technical leaders, to drive continuous improvements; act as spokesperson for the team to surface new ideas.
    • Stay tuned with web and mobile technology in order to maintain best in class solution.

    Requirements:

    • Strong background in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
    • Experience building successful web portals and frameworks with a large user base.
    • Minimum 7 years of hands-on working experience with Typescript, ES6 and at least one of the frameworks such as Angular, React or VueJs. Preferably Angular.
    • Must have hands-on working experience with frontend build tools and preprocessors (Webpack, Rullupjs, SASS/LESS).
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in developing multiple commercial-grade web applications using angular or react.
    • Must have experience in building modular, reusable web components and design systems.
    • Must be proficient in understanding web markup, including HTML5, CSS3.
    • Must have knowledge of modern UX paradigms.
    • Must have experience in building micro-frontend architecture patterns and best practices.
    • Must have experience building successful web portals with a large user base.
    • Must have experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
    • Good to have experience in working in Agile-Scrum / SAFe development environment. Familiarity with DevOps and DevSec tools.
    • Good to have knowledge of basic architecture for web apps and iOT.
    • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English
