    Description

    About the Role :

    • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cisco Voice Engineer to join our team and play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our Voice over IP (VoIP) infrastructure.
    • You will leverage your indepth knowledge of Cisco voice technologies and network protocols to ensure a reliable, secure, and highquality voice communication experience for our users.

    Required Skills :

    Voice & Network Expertise :

    • Proven experience in designing, installing, and configuring largescale voice communications hardware and software, including Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM).
    • Deep understanding of network security best practices, protocols, and firewalls (including stateful connections) for secure voice communication.
    • Indepth knowledge of networking protocols critical for VoIP, including TCP/IP, QSIG, SIP, H.
    • 323, MGCP, and SCCP voice networking topologies.

    Configuration & Troubleshooting :

    • Experience configuring voice gateways with protocols like dial peers, SRST, SIP, H. 323, and MGCP.
    • Excellent troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve complex voice and network issues within a VoIP environment.

    Security & Compliance :

    • Knowledge of VoIP encryption using Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) over TLS and Secure Real-Time Transport Protocol (SRTP).
    • Familiarity with relevant compliance regulations such as HIPAA, SOX, GLBA, and PCI is a plus.

    Virtualization :

    • Experience working in a VMware virtual environment for potentially virtualized voice deployments.

    Certifications :

    • CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) certification is required.
    • CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) certification is preferred.

    Additional Skills (Bonus Points) :

    • Experience with Cisco Collaboration tools like Webex and Jabber.
    • Experience with scripting languages like Python or PowerShell for automation tasks.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with crossfunctional teams.
