    Description

    We are hiring for Process Executive - Financial Reporting for Bangalore Location.

    Location: Bangalore

    Qualification: B.com and MBA or equivalent degree

    Shift: Flexible with US hours

    Experience: Min 1 Year

    Notice Period - Immediate to 30 days only

    Mode of Work – Work from Office full 5 days a week

    Job Description

    Primary responsibilities/essential functions:


    • Performs and/or monitors functions necessary to account for, report on and analyze Mutual Fund performance in Core Operations.

    · Prepares Financial reports, Board, Regulatory with supporting documentation of high complexity to ensure accounting records and investment data are accurate.

    · Prepare financial reports of US mutual funds (Monthly/Quarterly/Semi Annually/Annually) and deliver to client as per SLA.

    · Ensure review and approval by more senior associates.

    · Analyzes various reports and determines appropriate action to resolve any data issues.

    · Performs detailed self-review of work and peer review of some periodic/production work.

    · Demonstrates initiative by identifying and communicating issues to reviewers/managers/others.

    · Demonstrates strong working knowledge of Regulatory and Governance reporting team deliverables, nuances of task requirements, key updates and changes impacting data and reports, and interdependencies of key financial data within reports and templates.

    · Demonstrates ability to understand reporting information and can accurately assess and identify root cause to issues and recommend sound solutions; understands Regulatory policies, including communication and escalation protocols to appropriate reviewers and Managers.

    · Ensure timelines, accuracy and quality of reports in high growth environment. Provide scalability & strengthen analytical capabilities.

    · Ensure numbers as consistent and correct with source documents & formatting of all statements is correct.

    DOMAIN

    · In depth knowledge in accounting principles & preparation of financial statements based on US GAAP & IFRS.

    · Articulate data and analyze to the level required by user group to explain significant fluctuations/trends and presentation to finance leadership. Strong proficiency with MS Excel & MS PowerPoint. Ability to summarize & present complex data in organized/concise manner.

    · Understanding on Capital Market domain products like, BOND, equity, debentures, 1940 Act, ETF

    · Prepare Schedule of Investment (SOI)/ Portfolio of Investment (POI) as per the regulatory requirements.

    · Experience in financial reporting of US Mutual funds would be preferred.


    • Models skills and technical knowledge and provides training to new offshore associates

    o Provides technical training to new associates.

    o Performs small group training in order to build the offshore team's foundation of knowledge.

    o May act as a resource and provide guidance to newer associates.

    o Provides operational and technical guidance as necessary.


    • Identifies process improvements and leverages resources to gather facts, identify and escalate issues, and identify possible solutions. Discusses recommendations with team, and implements best practice and/or process improvements once approved.


    • Performs additional responsibilities as assigned.

    Business & Technical Skills:


    • Demonstrates working knowledge of securities and investment operations, including characteristics of various investment instruments and market practices, and ability to apply them to work assignments.


    • Demonstrates working knowledge of Excel, Microsoft and other business applications and the ability to apply them to work assignments.


    • Demonstrates working knowledge of accounting, including business operations, financial reporting and generally accepted accounting principles, and ability to apply it to work assignments.
