Roles and Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company goals and objectives.
  • Identify reliable suppliers and negotiate favorable terms and pricing agreements for materials and services.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to assess procurement needs and prioritize purchasing activities accordingly.
  • Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and pricing agreements in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including production, quality assurance, and logistics, to ensure seamless coordination of procurement activities.
  • Manage supplier relationships and resolve any issues or disputes that may arise in a timely and professional manner.
  • Stay informed about industry regulations and compliance requirements related to procurement and supply chain management.
  • Mentor and train junior staff members to enhance their procurement skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to optimize procurement processes and drive operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 810 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management, preferably in the medical device or electronics manufacturing industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing purchasing activities and achieving cost savings targets.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers.
  • Excellent communication, problemsolving, and decisionmaking abilities.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance requirements related to procurement.
  • Certification in supply chain management or procurement (e.g., CSCP, CPIM, CIPS) is a plus.

From ₹360,000.00 per year
