    Description

    Job Description:
    We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our dynamic team.

    The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to support our data-driven initiatives.

    You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, implement data solutions, and ensure data quality and integrity.


    Responsibilities:

    • Design, build, and maintain efficient and reliable data pipelines to move and transform data from various sources to our data warehouse.
    • Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and implement solutions that meet business needs.
    • Optimize and tune existing data pipelines for performance and scalability.
    • Implement data governance processes to ensure data quality, consistency, and security.
    • Troubleshoot data issues and perform root cause analysis.
    • Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in data engineering and recommend adoption of new tools and techniques as appropriate.

    Required Skills:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. (Master's degree preferred)
    • Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role with minimum 2+ years of experience.
    • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
    • Experience with distributed computing frameworks such as Apache Spark or Hadoop.
    • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or Scala.
    • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
    • Familiarity with data modeling concepts and ETL processes.
    • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

    Preferred Skills:

    • Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
    • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
    • Familiarity with realtime streaming technologies (e.g., Apache Kafka, Apache Flink).
    • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
    • Certification in relevant technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Big Data
    • Specialty, Google Professional Data Engineer).
