    ORBCOMM is a leading global provider of industrial Internet of Things (IoT) and communications solutions that remotely track, monitor and control fixed and mobile assets.

    We are looking for a Product Owner to join our Product Development team supporting the full lifecycle of software delivery. You will play a key role in formulating our product vision and in developing and managing a product roadmap. You will work closely with Product Managers, Development Teams, and Key Stakeholders to manage product priorities and ensure the delivery of industry leading transportation solutions.

    You will:

    • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand and refine product requirements.
    • Lead development team priorities in PI planning, sprint planning, and other agile ceremonies; aligned to larger experience platform priorities and vision.
    • Align with product managers and key stakeholders to clearly articulate product strategy to the delivery team.
    • Develop and maintain the team's backlog of epics, and user stories and serve as a subject matter expert on features, user stories, and product capabilities.
    • Serve as key resource to development team to answer questions, provide clarifications, and conduct and coordinate business validation, focusing on fitness for use.
    • Update leadership on the epic and feature delivery schedule, including deliverables risks, along with recommended solutions.
    • Partner with solution architects and other technical leads to ensure their solutions effectively address program priorities while balancing client experience and technical integrity.
    • Facilitate sprint planning to drive alignment and visibility for which features will be built when, and to ensure overall adherence to the product roadmap and business goals.
    • Facilitate sprint demos and provide final acceptance for completed user stories in sprint demos; ensuring that the story meets acceptance criteria and otherwise meets its definition of done.

    What we need to see:

    • 3 - 5 years' experience in a similar role focused on technology solutions.
    • Experience managing ambiguity, leading work autonomously, and making independent decisions.
    • Strong relationship building and facilitation skills to work directly with stakeholders and product users who may not be technical in nature.
    • Experience defining and delivering features, epics and user stories to execute on a product roadmap.
    • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Excellent teamworking skills
    • Experience working with offshore and cross functional teams
    • Experience working in an Agile development framework.
    • Experience working with Jira, AHA and MS Based applications.
