POSITION SUMMARY
The project assistant provides coordination between IT support teams and end users to ensure a high satisfactory customer experience. Responsibilities include coordinating IT delivery for evergreen (hardware refreshes), special projects, BAU (Business as Usual Projects), and other project and scheduling aspects. The project assistant coordinates and validating scheduled hardware deployments and works closely with IT support and Asset Management teams to updates inventory records accordingly. The project assistant ensure send user is satisfied with Fujitsus IT services described above and is ready to respond to client questions and requests to promote continuous client experience. Engage other technical support teams when require. POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide support and coordination during the evergreen process. Assist with Evergreen activities from the initiation to completion of a request Update inventory records and work Asset Management team Work closely with Operations team and PMO Participate in IT projects as required Provide feedback and make recommendations to appropriate teams for any process improvements identified Demonstrate good judgment with defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action Communicate effectively with multiple clients and co-workers. Able to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel Escalate unresolved issues to management promptly Provide feedback and recommendations for Evergreen processes.
QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to work independently High accountability with strong work ethics Technical and analytical skills required Understanding asset management processes Basic to intermediate knowledge of Windows operating system and productivity software such as of Microsoft Office and Office 365 Strong interpersonal skills in dealing with a wide range of clients with varying computer abilities Experience in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams) is a must Experience using ITSM tools (ServiceNow preferred) Experience supporting Microsoft Windows operating systems will be an asset.
EDUCATION and/or WORK EXPERIENCE
Certification, training, or experience in project management required Technical diploma or equivalent certification and experience will be considered an asset ITIL Certification will be considered a strong asset Experience working in corporate environment will be considered an asset.( Shift Time 6:00pm to 3:00 am IST)
