Job Title:

Merchandiser cum E-commerce executive:

Timings: 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM

Roles and responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement merchandising strategies in line with company objectives, market trends, and customer preferences.
  • Analyze sales data, market research, and customer insights to identify product opportunities and potential risks.
  • Collaborate with the product development team to conceptualize and introduce new products or product line extensions.
  • Manage the entire product lifecycle, including product selection, pricing, inventory management, and product discontinuation.
  • Conduct regular market visits to assess competitor activities, monitor product performance, and identify emerging trends.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts, and ensure timely delivery of merchandise.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with logistics and warehousing teams to optimize stock levels and minimize stockouts.
  • Provide sales forecasts and performance reports to management, highlighting key trends, opportunities, and challenges.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners, addressing their needs, resolving issues, and maximizing sales opportunities.
  • Conduct regular store visits to assess product presentation, shelf space allocation, and compliance with merchandising guidelines.
  • Stay uptodate with industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to proactively identify business opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills:


  • Proven experience in merchandising, product management, or related roles within the retail industry.
  • Indepth knowledge of retail operations, market trends, and consumer behavior.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and market research, and make informed merchandising decisions.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills to interact effectively with suppliers, retailers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced, deadlinedriven environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in using merchandising software, inventory management systems, and MS Office suite.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently.

Salary:
₹11, ₹20,000.00 per month
