Description

As a Baker, you will be responsible for producing high-quality baked goods, ensuring they meet the established standards of taste, texture, and presentation.

You will follow recipes, use baking equipment, and employ baking techniques to create a range of products, contributing to the success and reputation of the bakery or food establishment.


Responsibilities:


  • Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, cookies, and other specialty items.
  • Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Operate baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and proofing machines effectively and safely.
  • Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure proper doneness and quality.
  • Create and shape dough for various baked goods, including bread and pastries.
  • Decorate and finish baked goods with toppings, glazes, fillings, and frostings.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to coordinate the timing of baked goods for service.
  • Maintain inventory of baking ingredients and supplies, and assist with ordering as needed.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization in the bakery area, following food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Develop and test new recipes or variations on existing recipes.
  • Stay updated with baking trends, techniques, and industry best practices.
  • Assist in training and supervising junior bakery staff.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Handle customer orders and requests for custom baked goods.

Qualifications:


  • Prior experience as a Baker in a bakery or food establishment is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and recipe execution.
  • Ability to follow recipes accurately and adapt to changes as needed.
  • Attention to detail and a passion for producing visually appealing and delicious baked goods.
  • Creativity and the ability to develop new recipes and innovative baked goods.
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet production schedules.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced and physically demanding environment.
  • Basic mathematical skills for measuring and scaling ingredients.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.

Physical Requirements:


  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift heavy bags of ingredients and trays.
  • Ability to work in a hot kitchen environment.

Salary:
₹20, ₹22,000.00 per month

  • Koramangala, Bangalore India : Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
