Description
Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor the Water System, including MCDP and PSG, to produce purified water and pure steam for pharmaceutical production.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality standards while operating the water purification system.
- Conduct routine inspections of the MCDP, PSG, and associated equipment to identify and report any technical issues or maintenance needs.
- Adjust system settings as required to maintain optimal performance and comply with production demands.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to perform preventive maintenance and address equipment malfunctions promptly.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, safety protocols, and environmental standards in water system operations.
- Monitor and record critical parameters, such as water conductivity, temperature, and steam pressure.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior operators in the proper operation and maintenance of the Water System.
- Work closely with the quality control department to ensure water and steam quality meet specified standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to system performance, maintenance, and water consumption.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system efficiency and reliability.
- Report any deviations from SOPs or quality concerns to the water system supervisor.
Requirements:
- One to three years of experience in handling Water System, including MCDP and PSG Operations, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Relevant technical education, such as an ITI (Industrial Training Institute) certificate, Diploma, or Degree in a related field.
- Knowledge of water purification processes, including MCDP and PSG operations, and associated equipment.
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other industry regulations related to water system operations.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining water system performance and quality.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors.
- Flexibility to work in shifts as required by the production schedule.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn and grow within the role.
- Physical fitness to perform tasks such as equipment inspections and maintenance.
