- Guide the team on key players in the title insurance industry and their approaches, value chain of title insurance, Sub-industry trends, challenges, market dynamics, Rules/regulations/compliances related to real estate and mortgage industry
- Nominate & encourage the team to participate in domain related trainings and certifications / In-house courses
- Profound knowledge & understanding of First American business/processes and different Business units at FAI
- Propose probing techniques (FGD's/interviews) to elicit requirements from relevant stakeholders, help the team to enhance their communication skills to question, interpret and clarify information
- Suggest requirements gathering tools/templates/ best practices, Gap analysis process, tools, methodologies, approach and templates, Business use cases, use case scenario, storyboard
- Informed of industry / global trends in IT product markets, technology and customer behaviors, 3rd party products and packages, technology/solution knowledge
- Advise the best diagnosis techniques (Impact Analysis on other FA applications / existing processes, Feasibility Analysis), NFR (Non-functional requirements), enabler stories creation, Sketch Flow, iRise and other prototyping tools, Competitive landscape, Pricing, Effort estimation
- Demonstrate deep knowledge of Escrow /Title processes, mind map, flow chart and Unified Modeling Language concepts
- Identify actors, technology touchpoints and metrics/KPI, gaps from the use cases built
- Assist the team on building data flow diagrams, create focused / detailed use case diagrams
- Proficient in effective customer facing technologies (e.g. Direct Agent application etc.), Usability Heuristics (UI/UX), Usability Testing (User interface), Cognitive biases (to align user experience team)
- Robust understanding of Scoping, Scheduling, Effort estimation techniques, Software Development methodologies, Risk Identification and Management, Work breakdown structures, Gantt charts and similar planning tools, PMP/PMI Knowledge, ITIL Knowledge, Reporting & MIS, Talent management policies and procedures, Client requirements and goals, Escalation procedures
- The candidate must possess hands-on with variety of documentation, product management tools like MS Visio, MS office, PMP, TFS Adobe etc.
- He/She also expected to have sound knowledge in SDLC, Agile/scrum methodologies.
