    Product Manager - Demand Planning

    As a product manager you will be required to dream big, design product vision and roadmap, manage stakeholders' requirements, understand the features to be added in the product, prioritize the features development, manage backlog and interact with the development & business integration team. The person will be responsible for the success of the product.

    What you'll do for us...

    • Work for a product team to deliver demand forecasting products for Industries.
    • Participate in requirements and design discussion with consulting, pre sales and customers.
    • Design, develop and document technical & functional solutions - forecasting models, scripts, workflows, UIs.
    • Understand o9 platform's data model (table structures, linkages, optimal designs) for designing various planning use cases.
    • Creation and execution of test plans, document issues and track progress at resolving issues.
    • Support pre-sales and delivery teams to achieve higher forecast accuracy, predictive and prescriptive analytics on customer dataset.
    • Continuous development of forecast product with state of the art techniques.

    What you'll have...

    • Experience: 2 - 4 Years
    • Education: A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative function like Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Engineering, Operational Research or Computer Science. A Master's degree would be considered a plus.
    • Skills: At Least 2 years of experience in demand planning and forecasting domain. Proven record to take complete ownership of end to end design & delivery of forecasting solutions is an advantage
    • A minimum of 2 year of experience in implementing ML algorithms using R and/or Python.
    • Demonstrated understanding and experience in applying traditional statistical, machine learning, deep learning, NLP, and/or graph techniques to address business problems
    • Deep understanding of common business metrics and the ability to generate new ones as needed
    • Improving existing methodologies by developing new data sources, testing model enhancements, and fine-tuning model parameters.
    • Expert in analytical/scripting languages like R, Python.
    • Experience with enterprise software – Supply Chain Planning, ERP, and CRM are preferred. Working in the product management team is a huge plus.
    • Experience and/or knowledge with databases (SQL Server, MySQL) and ETL.
    • Experience in one of the following - C#/VB.NET/Javascript/Java
    • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
    • Experience in implementing SCM planning applications will be a plus.
    • Ability to analyze problems by synthesizing complex information, evaluating alternate methods, and articulating the result with the relevant assumptions/reasons
    • Knowledge of SQL, experience with ETL tools like Informatica/SSIS will be a plus
