    Description

    Mobile Engineer (SDE 3, 5+ years)

    About the company:

    Company is a global leader in brain training, helping more than 100 million individuals enhance their cognitive abilities since 2007. Think of it as a brain gym, offering a variety of daily workouts through 40+ games that target key cognitive areas like Memory, Attention, Flexibility, Processing Speed, and Reasoning. Available on the web and as a mobile app compatible with iOS and Android devices.

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    This role requires close collaboration with engineering peers to develop software for a large user base. You will engage with product managers, designers, experts in the field, and stakeholders regularly. We are looking for someone who has a proven track record of delivering software products successfully and a strong passion for cognitive well-being.

    What you will do

    • Development and problem-solving will be your primary focus.
    • Participate in decision-making to influence system and code architecture.
    • Lead the definition of implementation details through teamwork.
    • Create technical specs and plans in coordination with teammates.
    • Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to outline product requirements.
    • Advocate for best practices and provide recommendations for development strategies.
    • Contribute to agile development processes and their continuous enhancement.

    What you have

    • 5+ years of experience developing mobile applications.
    • Proven record of delivering high-quality mobile applications.
    • Proficiency in Dart and Flutter Framework.
    • Experience in native mobile app development for Android or iOS is a significant advantage.
    • Solid knowledge of mobile app architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
    • Experience in API consumption and integration (REST, GraphQL, etc.).
    • Familiarity with unit testing frameworks like Mockito.
    • Knowledge of build and continuous integration tools.
    • Ability to analyze and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
    • Experience in developing performant software systems for a large user base.
    • Prior exposure to startup environments is beneficial.
