    Desktop Support Engineer - Chennai, India - Saaki Argus & Averil Consulting

    Description

    About Client:

    • A leading IT service organization.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide first-line support to end-users, addressing hardware and software issues promptly and effectively.
    • Troubleshoot and diagnose technical problems, both remotely and on-site.
    • Perform regular system updates and patches to ensure security and functionality.
    • Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as backups and system optimization.
    • Assist in the setup and maintenance of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, access points and firewalls.
    • Troubleshoot network con0nectivity issues and assist in the resolution of network-related problems.
    • Collaborate with senior IT staff to implement IT projects, upgrades, and migrations.
    • Follow security best practices and assist in implementing security measures to protect the organization's information assets.
    • Create documentation for troubleshooting steps and resolutions to common issues.

    Requirements:

    • 2 to 5 years of experience.
    • Strong understanding of computer hardware, operating systems(windows . macOS and Linux)
    • Basic knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.
