    We are looking to hire a seasoned Automation Test Engineer for Mumbai location, Ideal candidate will have minimum 5+ years of experience

    POSITION: Automation Tester

    EXPERIENCE (IN YEARS): 5+ Years

    LOCATION: Mumbai

    JD:

    We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Automation Tester to join our dynamic team. As an Automation Tester, your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects, participate in test planning, and contribute to the overall improvement of our software testing processes.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Test Automation: Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using industry-standard testing tools and frameworks.
    2. Test Planning: Participate in test planning activities, including test strategy, test case design, and test environment setup.
    3. Test Execution: Execute automated test cases to verify software functionality, performance, and reliability.
    4. Defect Identification: Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
    5. Regression Testing: Conduct regular regression testing to ensure the stability of software releases.
    6. Test Reporting: Prepare comprehensive test reports and communicate test results to stakeholders.
    7. Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and tools.
    8. Collaboration: Collaborate with developers, product managers, and quality assurance team members to understand project requirements and quality objectives.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
    • Proven experience in test automation using tools like Selenium, Appium, or similar.
    • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
    • Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
    • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins).
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
    • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.

    Preferred Qualifications (not mandatory but a plus):

    • Experience with API testing and tools like Postman or REST Assured.
    • Knowledge of test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
    • Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
    • Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.
