    Description

    Job Title :
    Manager, Service Reliability Engineer


    Common accountabilities :

    • Manages a team of Staff employees and has accountability for their performance and results.
    • Sets performance objectives, conducts performance reviews and recommends pay actions.
    • Defines a vision for the team in line with the department strategy and operational challenges and translates it into a concrete action plan.
    • Works with a high level of autonomy, with some guidance from Senior Manager.
    • Acts as a reference across multiple areas, anticipating solutions to complex problems.
    • Optimizes efficiency based on knowledge and experience with the policies, procedures and business plan.

    Specific accountabilities :

    • Manage application operations for Amadeus Core Services end to end.

    Technical skills :

    • Setup CI CD pipelines using Jenkins
    • Handson work experience in Openshift and Kubernetes
    • Handson with Ansible, Python and shell script
    • Hands on with Cloud Azure
    • Should be able to setup CD with Argo CD
    • Should be able to orchestrate the different automations
    • Should be familiar working with SQL and No-SQL DB
    • Mandatory to be hands on any cloud technology
    • Should be able to add alerting an monitoring preferable using Grafana and Prometheus

    Change and Release Management :
    Manage and execute change, release and test processes and drive automation of these processes


    Problem & Incident Management :

    • Produces deliverables and carries out problem investigations, support or change management activities within timescales and standards defined by Team Leader or Project Leader.
    • Follows the company's IT best practices and security guidelines.
    Focusses on building Business Knowledge
