    Overview

    The DesignEngineer plays a crucial role in our organization contributing tothe development of innovative products and solutions. This positioninvolves working collaboratively with crossfunctional teams todesign develop and test products ensuring they meet quality andregulatory standards.

    KeyResponsibilities

    • Collaborate with theproduct development team to conceptualize and design newproducts.
    • Utilize CAD software to createdetailed 3D models and technicaldrawings.
    • Conduct feasibility studies andresearch to support design decisions and validateconcepts.
    • Participate in prototyping testingand refining designs based on feedback andperformance.
    • Ensure designs comply withindustry standards regulations and safetyrequirements.
    • Work closely with manufacturingand production teams to transition designs intoproduction.
    • Contribute to continuousimprovement processes to optimize design efficiency andquality.
    • Provide technical support andexpertise in problemsolving for designrelatedissues.
    • Collaborate with vendors and suppliersto evaluate materials and components for designfeasibility.
    • Participate in design reviews andcommunicate design concepts effectively tostakeholders.

    RequiredQualifications

    • Bachelor s degree inMechanical Engineering Industrial Design or relatedfield.
    • Proven experience in product design anddevelopment preferably in a manufacturingenvironment.
    • Proficiency in CAD software suchas SolidWorks AutoCAD or similar tools.
    • Strongunderstanding of mechanical principles materials and manufacturingprocesses.
    • Experience in prototyping andtesting methodologies to validatedesigns.
    • Ability to interpret and createtechnical drawings andspecifications.
    • Knowledge of design formanufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA)principles.
    • Excellent analytical andproblemsolving skills with attention todetail.
    • Effective communication andcollaboration skills across multidisciplinaryteams.
    • Familiarity with regulatory standardsand compliance requirements for productdesign.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects andprioritize tasks effectively.
    • Strong projectmanagement skills and the ability to meetdeadlines.
    • Continuous learning mindset andadaptability to evolving technologies and bestpractices.
    • Experience with rapid prototypingand additive manufacturing techniques is aplus.
    • Understanding of design validation andtesting methodologies isdesirable.
