    Position Summary:

    We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer with expertise in both manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our software products through meticulous testing processes. This position involves designing, developing, and executing manual and automated test scripts, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software defects. The QA Engineer will be responsible for creating and maintaining comprehensive test documentation, contributing to test strategy development, and mentoring junior QA team members.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements.
    • Perform functional, regression, and system testing to ensure the reliability and stability of software applications.
    • Identify, document, and track software defects, collaborating with development teams to facilitate timely resolution.
    • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
    • Implement and execute automated test suites for functional, performance, and scalability testing.
    • Continuously enhance and optimize existing automation frameworks to improve efficiency and test coverage.
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand project requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
    • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, providing input on testing strategies and estimates.
    • Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test execution reports.
    • Document and communicate testing progress, results, and issues to project stakeholders.
    • Contribute to the development and improvement of QA processes and best practices.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in testing methodologies, tools, and technologies.
    • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior QA team members.
    • Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance the overall skill set of the QA team.
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • Proven experience as a QA Engineer with a focus on both manual and automation testing.
    • Strong proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG).
    • Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
    • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
    • Experience with performance testing tools is a plus.
    • Relevant certifications (ISTQB, CSTE) are desirable.

    Technical Skills:

    • We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have expertise in both manual and automation testing, with proficiency in creating and executing test cases. Strong knowledge of Python and SQL is essential for this role.
    • Conduct manual testing to ensure the quality of software products.
    • Develop and execute automated test scripts to enhance testing efficiency.
    • Create comprehensive test cases and documentation for various testing scenarios.
    • Utilize Python and SQL for test automation and data validation.
    • Perform regression testing to identify and address potential issues.

    Human Skills:

    • Strong verbal and written communication abilities to effectively convey design ideas and collaborate with team members.
    • Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp and adapt to new concepts, technologies, and design techniques.
    • Proven capability to handle projects independently based on a single brief.
    • Creative thinking and innovation in approaching design challenges.

    Experience & Qualification

    • B.Tech/B.E./MCA degree in or any equivalent Education.
    • 3-5 years of relevant experience in Automation and Manual testing.
    • Strong communication skills and a quick learner.
    • Innovative and out-of-the-box thinker.
    • Ability to take up projects independently.
    • Openness to learning new software.
