    JOB SUMMARY

    We are looking for a skilled Web Manager who, along with our excellent software development, infrastructure, and security teams, will be responsible for managing both the organization's online presence and a team of developers. This role involves overseeing website development projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful execution of digital initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a solid understanding of web technologies and digital marketing principles.

    PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Website and Development Management:

  • Lead a team of developers in the design, development, and maintenance of company websites, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and project timelines.
  • Collaborate with designers, content creators, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions and deliver high-quality web experiences.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.

    • Project Planning and Execution:

  • Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocations for website development projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and priorities.
  • Track project progress, identify potential risks or bottlenecks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely delivery and successful outcomes.
  • Communicate project status, milestones, and dependencies to stakeholders, fostering transparency and accountability throughout the development process.

    • Technical Expertise and Innovation:

  • Stay abreast of emerging web technologies, development frameworks, and industry trends, and assess their potential impact on the organization's digital strategy.
  • Evaluate and recommend new tools, platforms, and methodologies to improve development efficiency, scalability, and performance.
  • Encourage a culture of innovation and experimentation within the development team, empowering team members to explore new ideas and approaches.
  • Manage and support DevOps principles.

    • Team Leadership and Talent Development:

  • Recruit, onboard, and manage a diverse team of developers, providing coaching, feedback, and professional development opportunities to foster growth and career advancement.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment where team members feel valued, motivated, and empowered to contribute their best work.
  • Promote knowledge sharing, code reviews, and collaborative problem-solving to enhance the overall effectiveness and cohesiveness of the development team.

    • KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Proven experience in web development, content management, and digital marketing.
  • Proficiency in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CMS platforms (., Umbraco, WordPress, or Drupal).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret web analytics data and derive actionable insights.
  • Excellent project management and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and influence stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with SEO principles, web accessibility standards, and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a passion for continuous learning and innovation.
  • Previous experience in a leadership or managerial role, with a track record of successfully leading and mentoring development teams.
  • Proficiency in software development methodologies (., Agile, Scrum) and project management tools (., Jira, Azure DevOps) to facilitate effective collaboration and project execution.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members, build consensus, and resolve conflicts.
  • Deep technical expertise in web development languages (.NET, Java, PHP, JavaScript), frameworks, and tools, with the ability to provide hands-on guidance and support to developers.
  • Experience with version control systems (., Git), continuous integration/delivery pipelines, and DevOps practices to streamline development workflows and ensure code quality and reliability.
  • A passion for staying updated on the latest developments in web development, digital marketing, and technology trends, with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Excellent knowledge of cloud computing technologies and trends.
  • Experience with Docker and the ability to create images and containers as needed.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud providers such as MS Azure, AWS, or others.

    • EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or relevant field.
  • Total 9+ years' experience with minimum 5 years of expertise in designing, executing and supporting web development.
