    Our Construction Engineering practice assists developers, contractors, designers, fabricators, and erectors in efficiently moving projects from initial idea to completion by getting involved early in the design phase. We are driving a significant shift in how the AEC industry approaches project delivery. Our unique Advanced Project Delivery (APD) service integrates construction engineering and detailing at the beginning of the design process, providing contractors with detailed information much earlier than traditional methods.

    Our Chennai office is known for offering practical and innovative solutions to real-world engineering obstacles. Projects typically involve designing various steel-to-steel connections and stairs following AISC standards, ensuring solutions that can be fabricated and erected efficiently.

    The Role

    We are looking for a skilled connection design engineer to join our Construction Engineering Practice. Ideal candidates will have experience with medium to large-scale projects like industrial and commercial buildings.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform the design of all types of steel connections in compliance with the AISC design code.
    • Create connection calculations with connection details using Revit/AutoCAD.
    • Prepare stair design calculations.
    • Review shop/erection drawings.
    • Coordinate with in-house staff and other design professionals, including the Fabricator/EOR and Detailing team.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering. Master's degree in structural engineering preferred.
    • Familiarity with industry software like Mathcad, Descon, RAM Connections, Revit, AutoCAD, HILTI, MS Excel, Tekla (Basic).
    • Ability and willingness to travel within India.
