    Description

    About the Role :
    We are seeking a motivated and experienced STARLIMS Senior Developer to join our growing team.

    In this critical role, you will play a key part in designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining custom solutions on the STARLIMS LIMS platform used in our laboratories.

    You will leverage your in-depth knowledge of STARLIMS, .NET technologies, and database systems to create robust and efficient solutions that support our scientific workflows and data management needs.


    Responsibilities :

    STARLIMS Expertise :

    • Possess a minimum of 10+ years of experience developing on the STARLIMS LIMS platform.
    • Demonstrate a strong understanding of STARLIMS workflows, configuration options, and customization capabilities.
    • Experience in all phases of the development lifecycle for STARLIMS customizations, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and user training.

    NET Development Skills :

    • Extensive experience in .NET development with a focus on .NET Framework 4.0 or higher and/or .NET Core.
    • Familiarity with WCF and RESTful web services for data integration and communication.
    • Experience with building multitier applications with welldefined architecture.

    Database Development :

    • Strong working knowledge of SQL Server 2008/2016 or PL/SQL for database interactions and data manipulation.
    • Understanding of database design principles and best practices.

    Additional Skills :

    • Experience with version control systems like Git, Subversion, or TFS is essential.
    • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence is a plus.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with business stakeholders, scientists, and other developers.
    • Ability to analyze system issues, troubleshoot problems, and recommend performance improvements.
    • Passion for continuous learning and staying uptodate with the latest advancements in STARLIMS and related technologies.

    Qualifications :

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (required).
    • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex software projects on time and within budget.
    • Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
