JD for Business Analyst (IT)

About the Role:
In this role youwill serve as a liaison between stakeholders and IT team capturingrequirements
directly with business users and preparingthe product backlog/ requirements. You will be involved inall
phases of project life cycle including solutiondesign development testing user acceptance golive
planning and post production support. You will act as the businessdomain subject matter expert within
IT and assist thedevelopment team in understanding the requirements. You willprovide all the
necessary inputs for the team tocomplete development in a timely manner and ensure high adoptionof
the solutions by the business unit. You will workwith external solution providers documenting solution
requirements and validating if the vendor solution meets businessexpectations. JobResponsibilities
Conduct business requirement analysisfor assigned projects
Act as Solution Requirements Ownerfor medium to complex programs
Work with DeliveryLead(s) to identify risks and provide mitigation plans
Work to bring together various stakeholders and outline in businessterms to define and
Illustrate clearly the business needand how the underlying technology solution will deliver
expected benefits for the organization. Analyze current businessprocesses work methods
assets/artifacts and proposeimprovements where appropriate
Manage and support toachieve traceability of requirements across the project lifecyclefrom
initiator to solution requirements baseline todesign build test and deploy. Together with
other teamproject members take part to conduct and support Show and Tellsessions with end
user community
Communicateeffectively requirements to various stakeholders considering thetarget audience
e.g. business community architecture andtechnical teams or UAT
As required work together withSolution Architecture and Technical Teams to prepare
Technology Impact Assessment and Feasibility workshops with thestakeholders propose
solution approaches asapplicable
Prepare Functional Description Documentationfor the Solution i.e. solution description
understandable to business community tracing back to requirementsand also aligning to
overall solution architecture anddesign with focus to consider how the end users shallperceive
and use/benefit from the solution Review and provide feedback for other project keydeliverables such as Solution High Level
DesignMigration and Test Strategies and ensure compliance with solutionrequirements

Job SpecificSkills:
Working experience in Agile and Lean softwaredevelopment methodologies.
Must have good analytical andproblemsolving skills and ability to troubleshoot andsolve
problems
Ability to foster teamworkamong team members.
Ability to lead a diverse group ofproject stakeholders and members towards successful
delivery of a project.
Excellent interpersonalcommunication negotiation and leadership skills.
Innovative and creative thinker.

About You:
Bachelors Degree or Honors in Engineering / ComputerScience / Mathematics / Sciences or
Equivalent with 7years of experience with minimum 5 years of jobrelatedexperience
Bachelor Degree with minimum 7 years of ITindustry experience of which 5 years as a
businessanalyst in a software development team.
Excellentknowledge understanding and proven track record on deliveringcomplex business
and technology transformations asBusiness Analyst.
Knowledge of endtoend softwaredevelopment life cycle starting from requirements
phaseuntil delivery and rollout preferably on Azure DevOps using SCRUMmethodology.
Excellent knowledge and understanding ofBusiness Processes BPMN Domain Modeling
and Knowledge onAirline travel ecommerce domains will be an addedadvantage
IT Industrial Certifications or PostGraduation with specific focus on Practical deploymentsis
considered a plus.
Any Business Analysis /IT certifications are considered as aplus.
