    Responsibilities:


    • Execute Seat Covers development with supplier to secure the milestones in the project.


    • Prepare and monitor timeline for Seat Cover development activities with supplier.


    • Collaboration with different cross-functional teams (Design, Purchasing, Quality, Production, Controlling) to meet quality, assembly & functional requirements.


    • Close coordination with supplier for functional development and product maturity.


    • Execution of Engineering Change requests as per project requirements

    Qualifications - Internal

    Mandatory skills & experience:


    • – years of relevant experience in automotive Seat cover Design & Development.


    • Product knowledge of automotive Seat covers, Seat Foams, Comfort Elements, etc.


    • Experience in full product lifecycle management spanning from concept generation, design & development, product validation (as per global regulation), product launch execution to post-production support.


    • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with suppliers and cross-functional teams.


    • Strong practitioner of basic engineering processes, analytical and problem-solving skills and with capability of out-of-the-box thinking.


    • Know-how of UG NX

    Additional skills & experience:


    • German linguistic skills


    • International work experience


    • Development experience in Mercedes-Benz or similar products

    Job Responsibilities:

    1. Responsible to work on Seat Serienbetreuung for Various carlines at Mercedes Benz Car Group.

    2. Will be working towards achieving Technical Feasibility, packaging of Seat in the Vehicle Environment, Manufacturing Feasibility for Seat Components, Testing and Homologation requirements.

    3. Responsible to work on product changes and its implementation for seat components

    4. To be able to work on Global working/communication models

    5. Establish good connect with Supplier, MB Plants and Quality/Logistics/MP teams.

    6. Command on solid and surfacing using UGNX software

    7. Should be able to work independently with minimum supervision.

    8. Assist team leader to achieve company goals / objectives.

    9. Working knowledge about either of Enovia/VPM/Team Centre is a must.

    . Knowledge of Product Structure, Creation of BOM / Assembly structure in PLM

    . Working knowledge on Quality checkers like Q Checker (Daimler)

    . Knowledge on Product Change Management Process

    . Data Management, Release Control and Co-ordination, Understanding Drawing standards.

    . Experience in Mercedes-Benz norms and DBL standards, DIALOG, SMARAGD and Team center will be an added advantage.

    . Able to work as an independent player with min. guidance.

    . Additional skills & experience:

    German language

    International work experience

    Development experience in Mercedes-Benz or similar products

    Qualifications -

    Engineering degree in Mechanical or equivalent

    Required Skill Set:

    1. Good Command on NX – Solid Modelling, Surfacing and Drafting

    2. Good Knowledge of seating system Design – Foams, Plastics, sheet Metals etc.

    3. Know-How of Seat Components packaging and investigations

    4. Good communication skill and supplier negotiations/steering skills.

    5. Well versed with PowerPoint presentations.

    6. Product Change Management

    7. Data Management/Release Management
