    Description

    Position SummaryThe Accountant will be responsible for ensuring efficient day-to-day Indirect tax compliances and be responsible for GST, Import & Export Compliances, Accounts Receivable transactionsPrincipal ActivitiesReview and advise on indirect tax compliance clarifications as necessary, including systems audits, systems design and implementation, and process streamliningManage GST filings, documentationManage global and regional relationships with both internal and external stakeholdersLiaise with Tax authorities for the submission of returns and follow-up queriesAccounting, retrieval of Accounts receivable, Indirect tax transactionsHandling the Customer requests on Bank Guarantee, EMD, and Document submissionsProvide training to stakeholders on indirect tax, Import, and Export compliancesCorporate reporting | Shared Service BusinessExecutes Internal Controls over Indirect Tax process, Accounts receivable, and Import export CompliancesManaging Statutory audit | Tax audit with respect to Indirect Tax compliancesEnabling and obtaining all Export benefits including Drawback, Incentive schemesSOX Control | Documentation | ReportingRequirementsKnowledge Skills & AbilitiesStrong working knowledge of Indirect tax including Customs lawExcellent Knowledge of MIS Reporting backed up with advanced Excel skill sets.

    Ability to provide technical assistance and training to the other stakeholdersWorking experience in an ERP environment.


    Education & ExperienceEducation:
    Bachelor's Degree in Accounting & Finance

    Experience:
    5 to 6 years relevant experience in Indirect tax, Import and export compliances in product/manufacturing.
