    Description
    We are looking for a talented and experienced Backend Platform Engineer to join our Bangalore based Research team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing & maintaining scalable and reliable distributed systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of our platform.

    Role : Backend Platform Engineer

    Responsibilities :


    • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable backend systems to support our software applications.
    • Implement RESTful APIs and services to facilitate communication between different parts of the application.
    • Optimize performance and efficiency of backend code and databases.
    • Collaborate with frontend developers, software architects, and other team members to integrate frontend and backend components seamlessly.
    • Monitor system health, diagnose and resolve issues, and implement solutions to prevent future problems.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in backend development, cloud computing, and DevOps methodologies.
    • Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and adhere to coding standards and conventions.
    • Document designs, processes, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintain system :
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
    2. 3 to 7 years of experience in backend development.


    • Proficiency in one or more backend programming languages such as Python, Java, , or Go.
    • Experience with web frameworks like Django, Flask, Spring Boot, or
    • Strong understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, as well as database design principles.
    • Knowledge of RESTful API design and development.
    • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS is must.
    • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
