    Write clean efficient and reliablecode.
    System Architecture
    Participate in systemarchitecture and design discussions providing insights into thebest practices and patterns forJavadevelopment.
    Contribute to the selection ofappropriate design patterns and architecturaldecisions.
    Database Development
    Developoptimize and maintain database schemas and SQLqueries.
    Ensure efficient data access andstorage.
    API Development
    Create RESTful orSOAPbased APIs for data access and integration with othersystems.
    Implement API documentation andversioning.
    Testing and Debugging
    Write unittests and participate in code reviews to maintain codequality.
    Identify and debug software defects performanceissues and bottlenecks.
    Continuous Integration (CI) andContinuous Deployment (CD)
    Integrate code into CI/CDpipelines to automate testing build and deploymentprocesses.
    Ensure the pipeline is reliable andoptimized.
    Performance Optimization
    Optimizeapplication performance including memory usage CPU utilization andnetwork requests.
    Implement caching and data optimizationtechniques.
    Security and Compliance
    Implementsecurity best practices to protect data and applicationintegrity.
    Ensure compliance with data protection andsecurity standards.
    Documentation
    Create andmaintain technical documentation including code documentation andarchitectural diagrams.
    Ensure documentation is uptodateand accessible.
    Collaboration
    Collaborate withcrossfunctional teams including frontenddevelopers product managersquality assurance testers and otherstakeholders.
    Participate actively in Agile developmentprocesses such as sprint planning and dailystandups.

    Required Skills/Experience 8+ years of progressive experience inHCL WebSphere Commerce v7, v8, v9, WebSphere Application Server,Rational Application Developer/Eclipse, DB2. Experience withmicroservices, containers, and Orchestration frameworks (K8S).

    8+years of experience in Java J2EE Technology experiencespecifically:
    JSP, Servlet, EJB, AOP, JMS, Java Mail, SQL, JDBC,and Struts. Experience in working with Kafka, Redis, ElasticSearch, Akamai, etc. Knowledge of Headless architecture e.g. REACT/NodeJS / GraphQL Open source API knowledge (Apache, ant, axis,commons, Unit, xerces)

    Experience with jQuery, jQuery Mobile, Dojo,Angular JS, and React JS Experience with continuous integrationtechnologies:

    Jenkins or QuickBuild and GitHub Knowledge orexperience in the application configuration Service OrientedArchitecture - SOAP / REST Web Technologies - HTML/CSS/BootstrapRapid prototyping Extensive experience working in an AGILE workflowmodel.

    System Performance management Problem-solving and analyticalthinking Strong oral/written communication skills Knowledge ofMobile technologies PhoneGap/Cordova / iOS / Android / Java / HTML5a plus
