Responsibilities:

Electrical Maintenance and Repairs:

Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs of LT and HT electrical systems, equipment, and machinery within the manufacturing facility.
Troubleshoot electrical issues, identify root causes of malfunctions, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner to minimize downtime.

Installation and Upgrades:

Assist in the installation, commissioning, and upgrading of LT and HT electrical components, including transformers, switchgear, control panels, and distribution boards.

Compliance and Safety:

Adhere to all relevant electrical codes, safety guidelines, and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
Conduct regular safety checks on electrical systems and equipment to identify and mitigate potential hazards.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and upgrades performed on LT and HT systems.
Prepare reports detailing findings, actions taken, and recommendations for further improvements.

Collaboration:

Collaborate with other maintenance team members, engineers, and technicians to coordinate activities, share insights, and enhance the overall performance of the facility.

Emergency Response:

Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and breakdowns to troubleshoot and restore functionality, minimizing production disruptions.

Training and Development:

Stay uptodate with advancements in electrical technology, safety protocols, and industry trends through continuous learning.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians and apprentices to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Energy Efficiency:

Identify opportunities for energy efficiency improvements within the electrical systems and propose initiatives to reduce energy consumption.

Qualifications:

Electrician

's License:

Possess a valid electrician's license/certification for LT and HT electrical work.

Experience:

Significant handson experience working with both low tension (LT) and high tension (HT) electrical systems, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

Technical Expertise:

Proficiency in reading electrical diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
Familiarity with various electrical components, such as transformers, circuit breakers, relays, and motors.

Safety Focus:

Strong understanding of electrical safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

Problem-Solving Skills:
Proven ability to diagnose electrical issues accurately and implement effective solutions.

Communication:
Good communication skills to collaborate with team members, convey technical information, and write clear reports.

Physical Fitness:
Capable of performing physically demanding tasks and working in confined spaces when necessary.
