    A day in the Life:

    • Hands-on Software Development of Thermo Fisher Scientific's products.
    • Participation in product release projects.
    • Collaboration with Support to address customer issues.
    • Adherence to project methodology and standards.
    • Completion of assigned duties.

    Keys to Success:

    • 5+ years of experience in .NET and C#, particularly in Windows Forms and Services.
    • Proficiency in security standard practices.
    • Effective communication and idea exchange within a team setting.
    • Experience in an international team environment.
    • Demonstrated track record of achievement and meeting responsibilities efficiently.
    • Ability to work independently with little supervision.
    • Adaptability to changes.
    • Comfort with a dynamic and varied work environment.
    • Additional qualifications specified by the hiring manager.

    Education:

    • Master's degree or equivalent industry experience in IT.
    • College degree, preferably in engineering or software development.

    Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

    • 5+ years of .NET experience, including C#.
    • Experience in developing commercial software products.
    • Work experience in an international, distributed team.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft and Oracle software technologies in various sectors, including .NET.
    • 1+ years experience in relevant business domains (LIMS, Chromatography, Pharmaceutical R&D, laboratory).
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • 5+ years of team software development experience with expertise in unit testing, source code control, defect tracking, and version management.
