Main purpose of the Job:

Highly developed contract negotiation skills which includes assisting the commercial team with decision making, presenting arguments on behalf of Company, taking instructions from the commercial team, advising on the commercial team on market practice and risk
Bachelor's Degree essential and Masters level qualification desirable law/contracts/corporate & company administration
Must be a qualified lawyer with at least 8 years of experience in both inhouse and private practice
Confidence, maturity and leadership ability
A track record of negotiating complex contracts, and advising the commercial team as to risks
Ability to work independently, desire to have a positive impact by implementing and encouraging change
Interest in constant learning and self development
Leading investigations
Demonstrated problemsolving skills
Ability to manage competing priorities, short deadlines and work under pressure
High attention to detail
Experience in managing multiple stakeholders
A broad understanding of corporate compliance requirements, including compliance with the Indian Companies Act
