    We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Project Manager.

    In this role, you will:

  • The job holder will adhere to, and be able to demonstrate adherence to, internal controls and will implement the Group compliance policy by adhering to all relevant processes/procedures.
  • The job holder will implement measures to contain compliance risk across the business area. This will be achieved by liaising with Compliance and Controls departments about business initiatives at the earliest opportunity.
  • Demonstrate adherence to internal controls. This will be achieved by adherence to all relevant procedures, keeping appropriate records and, where appropriate, by the timely implementation of internal and external audit points, including issues raised by external regulators.
  • The [Service Manager] will work as part of a Managed Services Team to ensure a large multinational Service Provider contract is effectively managed and governed in line with HSBC's FIM's
  • Supports the [Contract and Commercial Lead and Service Management Lead] in managing the contractual agreement with the selected outsource partner and remains financially viable.
  • Works with the [Service Management Lead] to ensure operational integrity is effectively managed and that performance standard and the service delivered meets HSBC/customer requirements
  • Works with the [Programme Director and Head of Managed Services] to deliver Management and project/programme level reporting.
  • Requirements

    To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements-

  • Experienced in auditing/reviewing control evidence
  • Knowledge and practical understanding of HSBC Operational Risk and policies
  • Ability to quickly understand and evaluate information and respond accordingly.
  • Effective internal and external stakeholder management.
  • Committed and enthusiastic in an ever changing internal and external operational environment
  • Confident and able to communicate effectively at all levels of engagement within HSBC and with external Service Providers
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills including the creation of action plans and tracking mechanisms
  • Proven abilities in building relationships, relationship management and influencing across functional teams
