    Role purpose

    • Leads the Bangalore-based Planning & Reporting Centre of Excellence (PRCoE) as part of Finance Services enabling the delivery of the commercial finance operating model.
    • Leads delivery of Reporting & Data Management Systems to enable a single source of truth for Financial Reporting.
    • Delivers Business Intelligence Reporting, accurate Financial Planning & Analysis, and operational excellence in business performance reporting.
    • Standardize Global Business Performance Reporting & enable adoption of the RCoE standard reporting catalogue & methodology.
    • Plays a key role in driving and implementing the Finance Transformation projects.

    Key Accountabilities

    Lead the Centre of Excellence

    • Define & execute the Planning & Reporting CoE strategy to create a world-class CoE in line with Commercial Finance vision and Finance Data strategy.
    • Accountable for service excellence, developing and delivering, accurate and timely reporting, Planning, forecasting & analysis of the business performance.
    • Transition, Stabilize, and deliver operational excellence of FP&A roles enabling Regions, clusters, markets & functions across Dentsu.
    • Drive Standardized, Simplified, Automated, and seamless reporting in Power BI & Other intelligence tools, to enable Finance in Dentsu.
    • Own the RCoE Reporting catalogue, harmonize, simplify, and standardize reporting across Regions, Markets, and Global Practices.
    • Enable Client Centricity through centralized Client Revenue & Profitability reporting.
    • Drive implementation of SAP Analytics Cloud Planning tool to enhance Standard Forecasting Processes & Accuracy.
    • Provide timely and impactful analytics across Planning & Reporting to Regions, Markets, and Global Practices.
    • Oversees day-to-day operations of the PRCoE team enabling talent and leading with Dentsu values & culture.
    • Ensures achievement of KPIs, prioritizing & aligning to Finance Priorities & the Finance Operating Model.
    • Establishes and maintains business continuity measures for the PRCoE, ensuring seamless service delivery.

    Planning, Strategy, and Evolution of the Function

    • Resource local team, establishing consistent capability standards.
    • Build and maintain relationships with Key Stakeholders, ensuring PRCoE is the "go-to" function for business performance reporting & analytics.
    • Continue to build real-time Business Insights, ensuring real-time & accurate delivery across various cloud technologies.
    • Identify and continually implement opportunities that drive cost and operating efficiency across the PRCoE.
    • Continue to evolve the PRCoE Strategy through the execution of new Services, Market Penetration & Talent Build.

    Report development and Business Support

    • Ensures robust governance processes for report build and maintenance of BI reports through collaboration with Technology.
    • Lead and increase maturity of automation & intelligence, using Dentsu proprietary platforms.
    • Manage report development prioritization, ensuring reasons for non-development are well-communicated and understood by stakeholders requiring strong demand management.

    Professional Skills

    • At least 15 years of extensive FP&A, data, analytics, and Financial Reporting experience in complex multinational organizations and leading a Finance Centre of Excellence.
    • Qualified Accountant (Chartered/ Management Accountant or equivalent)
    • Experience of aligning, leading & motivating leaders and teams.
    • Ability to manage several initiatives with multiple stakeholders and follow through to conclusion.
    • Ability to work effectively with senior management across all functional areas.
    • Experience in managing Techno Functional team on BI reporting.
    • Excellent verbal/ written communication and presentation skills.
    • Ability to analyze complex problems to identify proactive solutions and implement change in a team-oriented environment.
    • Proven ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement relating to processes and operational performance across organizations to deliver high levels of customer satisfaction.
    • Understanding (and ideally experience) in how Reporting can be enhanced through NLG, AI, etc.
