- Lead and contribute to the design and development of distributed software systems within and across the Nutanix Hybrid Cloud Disaster Recovery teams.
- Mentor and manage a team of engineers to ensure successful planning and delivery of project goals through code and design reviews.
- Provide operational and technical guidance to team members on a day-to-day basis for building extendable code on a massively distributed infrastructure.
- Collaborate with teams across the software stack globally to effectively communicate technical views and design solutions.
- Focus on hiring, mentoring, and managing a high-performing team while driving timely software releases and promoting continuous learning and skill development within the team.
- A strong leader capable of motivating the very best software engineers.
- Continuously refine the process and best practices to enable smooth functioning of the team.
- Holding a Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering with 10+ years of software industry experience
- Having a management experience of 3+ years.
- Deliver high quality enterprise software with a focus on collaboration and problem-solving
- Translate customer requirements into design and code in a fast-moving agile environment
- Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to solve broad problems across teams
- Demonstrate excellent design and coding skills in Python, C++ and/or GoLang along with deep knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
