    Abouttherole

    Asthe Lead you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementingthe social emotional learning program in partner schools. You willlead a team dedicated to integrating SEL practices into variousaspects of our schools and community ensuring that educatorsstudents and parents are supported in their social and emotionaldevelopment.

    Weat Bhumi believe that incorporating socialemotional learning in achild s life will help build character enable learners to beethical rational compassionate and caring and thereby preparechildren for future challenges. SEL helps nurture Self AwarenessSelf Management Social Awareness Relationship Skills andResponsible Decision Making in individuals. These broadlyconstitute the five SEL competencies. Our program aims to fosterthese skills in the various stakeholders within the educationsystem providing grade specific deliverable content on SELcompetencies for children working closely with the educators andcaregivers through development workshops and providing necessarysupport.

    RoleandResponsibilities

    • Designand implement SEL curriculum frameworks lesson plans and resourcesfor different age groups and educationallevels.
    • Coordinatewith educators to integrate SEL practices into classroominstruction and schoolculture.
    • Monitorthe effectiveness of SEL programs through data collection andcommunicate findings and progress to stakeholders through reportspresentations and other means ofdissemination.
    • Supervisea team of SEL coordinators providing guidance support andprofessional developmentopportunities.

    EducationalQualification/Experience

    • Masters degree in Psychology Counseling Social Work Education or relatedfield.
    • Minimum2 years experience in education counseling social work or relatedfields with a focus on social emotional learning or mental healthsupport. Knowledge of SEL frameworks theories and evidencebasedpractices.

    • Strongleadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teammembers.
    • Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills with the ability to buildrelationships and collaborate effectively with diversestakeholders.
    • Abilityto work independently prioritize tasks and manage multiple projectssimultaneously.
    • Forwardlookingthinker who actively seeks opportunities and proposessolutions
    • Commitmentto equity diversity and inclusion in education and social emotionalsupport.
