JOB DESCRIPTION FOR English Language Faculty

Position Opening:
Faculty for English Language Development (Commerce - Jr. & Degree section).

The duties and responsibilities of a faculty shall include the following:

  • Contributes to student learning, growth and advancement.
  • Maintains a growth mindset toward student learning, teaching practice, and personal/collective professional development.
  • Demonstrates a high degree of selfefficacy; holds themselves accountable for learner outcomes and advocates for their students; works efficiently; and believes in their ability, the capability of their students and themselves to succeed and excel.
  • Being on the cutting edge of instructional practice & pedagogy.
  • Collaborates effectively with a variety of stakeholder groups within the organization and with external partners to increase student performance and contribute to advancing the teaching and learning craft.
  • Look beyond the walls of classroom and demonstrate global competence.
  • Recognize the relationship between socialemotional learning and academic performance and aspire towards developing and teaching the child on whole.
  • Facilitate differentiated and personalized learning goals and activities that are aligned to instructional goals and engage students in highlevel cognitive activity.

Required Skills:


  • Good command of English and able to make content as per the student's requirements.
  • Knowledge of instructional methods appropriate for students.
  • Desire and ability to work with hearing impaired children with diverse background and levels of ability toward accomplishing their educational goals.
  • Ability to organize tasks and manage time to meet various deadlines.
  • Manage groups of students in a classroom environment and communicate effectively with students, parent and other staff, including the ability to discuss topics which may be sensitive.
  • Working familiarity with assistive technologies to enhance student learning.

Education/Experience:

  • Master's Degree in education or related field.
  • Recent teaching experience (if any) shall be a plus point.

Salary:
Up to ₹600,000.00 per year
