    Description

    Job DescriptionJoin Our Team as a Manager, Quality ControlAre you an experienced Quality Control professional with a passion for excellence in the ASME manufacturing sector? We are seeking a dedicated Manager, Quality Control to lead our team and ensure our quality programs and systems meet or exceed customer and industry standards.


    Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Systems Analysis:
    Analyze quality systems to mitigate risks and ensure compliance within market economic constraints.


    Quality Assessments:
    Interpret third-party quality assessments of fabrication, installation, and operational quality issues.


    Team Leadership:
    Lead the Quality Control department by setting clear goals, coaching staff, and ensuring effective communication.


    Source Inspection Oversight:


    Oversee the Source Inspection process to minimize costs due to fabrication errors and promote resolution of quality issues with suppliers.


    Quality Plan Execution:
    Supervise the execution of the Quality Plan and ensure required certifications are renewed annually.


    Develop Quality Requirements:
    Develop new quality requirements to meet company goals and foster customer relationships at both project and management levels.


    Collaboration:
    Collaborate with department heads to create a high-performance team and engage with industry organizations to influence quality standards.


    Travel:
    Travel 10-15% by car or plane to various locations as required.

    RequirementsFour-year degree in engineering or a technical field with relevant work experience.


    At least 8 years of experience in quality assurance, ASME Section I or VIII, heavy industry, manufacturing, construction, welding, and non-destructive testing.

    Minimum of 3 years of experience leading and managing direct reports.

    Excellent time management and communication skills.

    Strong problem-solving abilities and data interpretation skills.

    Proficiency in English and ability to make quick decisions.
