    LimeTray is a product startup that helps restaurants market, engage, and sell to more customers online. The company aims to address the problem of restaurant closures by enabling restaurants to tap into the customer base that now resides online. LimeTray's founding team consists of highly knowledgeable professionals with experience in building one of the largest online food ordering portals. They have strong domain knowledge and are supported by angel investors and advisors who are successful Internet entrepreneurs. LimeTray is also backed by Matrix Partners, a well-known VC firm in India.

    Job Overview:

    We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Sales Development Representative to join our growing team at LimeTray. The SDR will play a crucial role in generating new business opportunities by prospecting and qualifying leads. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about sales, have excellent communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Prospect and qualify leads through outbound calls, emails, and other channels to generate new business opportunities.
    • Conduct research to identify potential clients and understand their needs, challenges, and goals.
    • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities for the sales team.
    • Collaborate with sales executives to develop and implement strategies for lead generation and conversion.
    • Engage with prospects to understand their requirements and effectively communicate the value proposition of LimeTray's products and services.
    • Schedule appointments and demos for the sales team with qualified leads.
    • Track and report on key performance metrics, including lead conversion rates, pipeline growth, and sales activity.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field is preferred.
    • Proven track record of success in a sales or business development role, preferably in the technology or SaaS industry.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and relationships with prospects.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales prospecting tools is a plus.
    • Passion for sales, with a results-driven attitude and a desire to exceed targets and goals.
