    Job Title: Private Equity Sales Specialist

    Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Private Equity Sales Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in large deal sales, particularly within the technology services industry, and a deep understanding of private equity firms and their portfolio companies. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and targeting private equity firms, developing and executing engagement strategies, and managing the full deal lifecycle.

    Responsibilities


    • Identify and target Private Equity firms with a large portfolio of companies


    • Develop and execute comprehensive engagement strategies to build meaningful relationships with PE partners and decision-makers within their portfolio companies


    • Deeply understand the unique needs and challenges faced by PE firms and their portfolio companies, tailoring solutions that deliver significant value


    • Manage the full deal lifecycle for large opportunities, from initial qualification to proposal development, negotiation, and final close


    • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (sales, solutions, delivery) to ensure seamless project execution and exceed client expectations


    • Track and analyze deal pipeline, opportunities, and win/loss trends, providing insights to refine and optimize sales strategies
    • Stay abreast of industry trends and developments relevant to PE firms and their portfolio companies Qualifications:


    • 4-7 years of experience in large deals sales, preferably within a mid-tier technology services company (max 15,000 employees)


    • Proven track record of successfully closing large, complex deals within the technology services industry


    • Extensive experience working with PE firms, building strong relationships, and understanding their investment strategies and portfolio needs


    • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills with the ability to connect with diverse stakeholders at all levels


    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex technical solutions into clear business value propositions


    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment


    • An MBA from a recognized institution or equivalent experience in the technology services industry is highly preferred

    :
    • Identify and research PE firms with relevant investment portfolios and growth focus areas.


    • Analyze PE firm investment strategies and portfolio company profiles to understand potential service needs.


    • Attend industry events and conferences to connect with PE professionals and network actively. Relationship Building and Engagement:


    • Develop and execute targeted engagement strategies to cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers at PE firms and portfolio companies.


    • Proactively engage with PE professionals, understanding their specific challenges and goals for portfolio companies.


    • Build trust and credibility as a trusted technology advisor, showcasing deep industry knowledge and service expertise.


    • Solution Development and Sales:


    • Translate identified needs into tailored technology solutions aligned with PE firm portfolio strategies and individual company requirements.


    • Collaborate with internal solution architects and engineers to craft compelling value propositions and proposals.


    • Lead sales conversations with PE firms and portfolio companies, effectively negotiating contracts and closing deals. Relationship Management and Growth:


    • Manage ongoing relationships with PE firms and portfolio companies, fostering trust and building loyalty.


    • Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities within existing accounts, expanding service offerings.


    • Track industry trends and developments relevant to PE investments and portfolio company challenges, staying ahead of the curve.


    • Analyze deal pipeline, win/loss ratios, and market data to refine prospecting and engagement strategies.


    • Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, educating sales and solution teams on PE specific needs and opportunities.


    • Additional Skills and Requirements:


    • Strong understanding of the technology services landscape, with expertise in relevant service areas (e.g., cloud, digital transformation, security).


    • Proven track record of success in large deal sales, preferably within the technology services industry.


    • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, adept at building rapport with diverse stakeholders.


    • Keen understanding of business acumen and the financial drivers of PE firms and their portfolio companies.


    • Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and decision-making processes within both PE firms and their portfolio companies.


    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of tailoring solutions to address specific client needs.


    • Time management and organizational skills, effectively managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
