    Description

    Role : Data Modeler

    Job Description :

    We are seeking an experienced and skilled Data Modeler to join our team on a remote basis.

    The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in data modeling and a strong background in utilizing Azure Data Lake and Databricks.

    This is an active position with a high priority, offering a competitive rate and the potential for a long-term engagement.

    Key Responsibilities :

    - Develop and maintain data models to support business requirements.

    - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into effective data models.

    - Design and implement data structures optimized for performance and scalability.

    - Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency within the data models.

    - Work closely with data engineers and analysts to optimize data processes and workflows.

    - Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in data modeling and database technologies.

    - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members when necessary.

    Requirements :

    - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

    - Proven experience as a Data Modeler or similar role with at least 7 years of relevant work experience.

    - Strong proficiency in data modeling concepts, techniques, and tools.

    - Extensive hands-on experience with Azure Data Lake and Databricks.

    - Proficiency in SQL and other relevant programming languages.

    - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

    - Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.

    - Prior experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.

    Duration :

    This is a full-time position with a duration of 3 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and project needs.
