- A Corporate lawyer with 6+ years of legal experience (experience in the Telecom / IT - ITES industry is preferred, but not must).
- Proven track record of successful negotiation and management of complex contracts.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with litigation with good networking and dispute resolution.
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance issues
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks.
- Proficiency in presentations, Powe point presentations, Microsoft Office Suite.
- Lead the development and review of client ready contracts while ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with legal standards.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to incorporate legal terms and conditions into contracts while maintaining a balance between legal protection and business objectives.
- Ensure contracts are drafter and submitted in a timely manner to facilitate swifter deal closures.
- Identify and mitigate legal risks, ensuring that contracts align with company policies and legal requirements.
- Provide timely feedback to internal stakeholders on contractual matters and negotiate favorable terms when necessary.
- Provide legal advice and counsel to the organization on a variety of legal matters.
- Working closely with Human Resource team on day-to-day employment law matters and advisory.
- Collaborate closely with the cross functional teams to understand business objectives and provide legal support in various aspects of the sales process.
- Hands on knowledge on M & A and related legal due diligence etc.
- Advise on legal implications and risks associated with intercompany employment law, HR strategies, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Manage and coordinate the organization's litigation and dispute resolution activities.
- Stay abreast of legal developments and advise the organization on potential risks and opportunities. Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement policies to ensure legal compliance in collaboration with other departments.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external legal counsels, responsible for legal strategy, contract management, compliance, and corporate governance.
