    Description
    Client is a leading company in financialservices Job title:Chief Risk Officer Location:Mumbai Responsibilities:

    Key Result Areas expected of therole:

    1. The CRO shallsupport the Board in establishing comprehensive and robust riskmanagement governance and control framework including risk policiesan integrated risk management approach defining risk appetite ofthe Companys and ensure capital adequacy in proportion to thecomplexity and inherent risks in the business while conforming toall statutory guidelines of the RBI. The risk framework should berobust enough for identification assessment measurement monitoringand mitigation of all types of risks on an ongoingbasis.
    2. Identify evaluate and quantify risksacross various business lines including all Pillar 1 risks (creditrisk market risk operational risk) and Pillar 2 risks (includingoutsourcing risk liquidity risk information security risk etc).Conduct comprehensive analysis of Companys asset portfolios toassess credit quality valuation of security receipts potentialimpairments and ensure adequate provisions are made in line withthe underlying risk profile of the asset.
    3. Implement systems and controls / dashboards for ongoingmonitoring of risks and apprise the Board of Directors (BoD) / RiskMonitoring Committee of the BoD and the senior management of thecompanys of the risk profile.
    4. Ensurecompliance to all risk related policies.
    5. Oversee the asset purchase and sale processes and ensurethorough due diligence in the acquisition and resolution ofdistressed assets.
    6. Continuously developenhance and embed the risk framework for managing risks across thecompany ensuring that controls and processes areadequate.
