    Job Title: BD & Sales Manager Location: Head Office, Mumbai

    Function: Sales & BD Business Unit: The Global Elephant Management Level: Middle

    Reports to: Director Reportees: Marketing /Sales executives and trainees Peers: Project Architect, Production Manager

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Strategic Planning

    1. Develop and implement a comprehensive international sales strategy aligned with the company's overall objectives.

    2. Conduct market research to identify potential opportunities and challenges in target markets.

    3. Analyse competitor activities and market trends to stay ahead in the global market.

    2. Team Leadership: 1. Provide leadership, motivation, and guidance to ensure team members achieve sales

    targets.

    2. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that encourages creativity and innovation.

    As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing the Sales Strategy to drive revenue, growth and expand the company's market presence in India & the Middle East Countries and other International Locations. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with all clients, and ensuring effective communication across diverse cultures and regions.

    3. Client Relationship Management: 1. Build and nurture relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners. 2. Identify client needs and provide solutions to enhance customer satisfaction. 3. Resolve any escalated issues promptly to maintain positive client relationships. 4. Willingness to travel for client meetings and Industry Events, as and when required. 4. Sales Execution: 1. Set and monitor sales targets and ensure they are aligned with overall company goals. 2. Develop and implement effective sales processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in sales operations. 3. Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to support sales initiatives. 5. Market Expansion: 1. Identify new market opportunities and potential business partnerships to expand the company's global footprint. 2. Develop and execute market entry strategies for new regions, considering regulatory and cultural factors. 6. Reporting and Analysis: 1. Prepare regular reports on international sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities. 2. Analyse sales data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed. 3. Must have good knowledge of Presentation tools i.e. Canva, Ludus, Geneilly etc. 7. Cross-Cultural Communication: 1. Navigate and adapt to different cultural norms and business practices to facilitate effective communication and relationship-building. 2. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless international business operation.

    Key Skills / Experience Required

    Educational Qualification: Marketing Degree and knowledge of Architecture / Design /

    Engineering related field; Master's degree is a plus.

    Additional Qualifications / certifications · Proven experience in sales management, with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. · In-depth knowledge of international markets, regulations, and business practices.

    Prior experience

    · Minimum 5 years of Experience in Business

    Development and Sales in Architectural and Theming Industry would be an added advantage.

    Other skills (preferred) · Strong leadership and team management skills. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds. · Must be able to work independently. · Analytical and strategic thinking, with the ability to make data-driven decisions. · Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic and rapidly changing global industry.
