    Project Manager - Construction Industry


    Location:
    Chennai


    Experience Required:
    Minimum 5 years


    Educational Qualification:
    B.Tech / B.E in Civil Engineering

    Key Responsibilities:

    Project Planning and Management:

    • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
    • Coordinate and manage all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion.

    Site Supervision:

    • Oversee daily site operations, ensuring compliance with design, safety, and quality standards.
    • Conduct regular site inspections and ensure timely resolution of any issues.

    Team Leadership:

    • Lead and manage onsite construction teams, including subcontractors and laborers.
    • Foster a positive and productive working environment.

    Stakeholder Coordination:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, and other stakeholders.
    • Maintain strong communication channels to ensure alignment and satisfaction.

    Budget and Cost Management:

    • Monitor project budgets and expenses, and implement costsaving measures where possible.
    • Prepare regular financial reports and forecasts.

    Compliance and Safety:

    • Ensure all projects adhere to legal and regulatory requirements.
    • Promote and enforce rigorous safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.

    Key Skills and Competencies:

    • Strong background in civil engineering and construction project management.
    • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Proficient in project management software and tools.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Detailoriented with strong problemsolving skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
