    Indirect Procurement Manager (Category Lead)

    ABOUT THE ROLE:

    This role is based out of Mumbai HO of Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals. The 'Indirect Procurement manager' will report to the Head Indirect Procurement and collaborate closely with cross-functional team to bring cost efficiencies through best-in-class procurement practices and drive value for the organization.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • The role is responsible for supporting the strategic procurement & transformation of assigned Indirect procurement category including but not limited to Professional & Marketing service viz. ATL & BTL spends i.e. media & marketing spends, indirect services, other Professional & Marketing consulting services, IT procurement, etc
    • Develop & implement strategy for the assigned indirect spend sub-categories.
    • Lead the sourcing process, including RFP/RFI, Ariba eAuctions and offline negotiations to secure the best value for the organization.
    • Supply markets analysis & implement best practices related to assigned category.
    • Drive savings projects & simplification initiatives like supplier & spend consolidation (existing Udaan & Unnati program).
    • Identify & implement opportunities for cost savings & process improvements.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
    • Conduct periodic supplier performance evaluations to ensure quality and reliability.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and develop category -specific strategies.
    • Lead/Support Indirect Procurement transformation journey, use/explore new age sourcing tools for data collection & analytics.
    • Deliver assigned Goals of Savings, simplification, Cost avoidance & TAT (Turnaround time) of requisitions.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor's degree in engineering /MBA

    SKILLS:

    • Strong negotiation Skills.
    • Stakeholder & supplier relationship Management.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • In depth knowledge of procurement best practices and industry trends in Indirect procurement
    • Experience with Excel, Power point is essential. Additional tools like Tableau, Power BI to drive smart business analytics are desirable.
    • Maintain a responsible and ethical approach while actively pursuing business outcomes.
