    Description

    Job Title: Technical Lead

    Company: AXA XL

As a Technical Lead, you will play a key role in managing internal assets and ensuring the quality and performance of our services. Join us in this exciting opportunity to lead a team of technologists and drive technical change for our products.

    • Specification of technologies, application architectures, and data structures for internal assets
    • Producing secure, scalable, and high-performing designs for services
    • Leading systems analysts, developers, and testers through application changes
    • Monitoring and reviewing change processes
    • Supporting Application Managers in developing and maintaining the Product Roadmap
    • Defining and maintaining development standards and capacity plans
    • Managing architecture exceptions and ensuring application performance meets requirements
    • Working with the DevOps team to optimize application platform assets

    You will report to the Delivery Lead.

    Required Skills and Abilities:

    • Upholding technical integrity at the logical and physical level
    • Experience in leading and mentoring development professionals
    • Assisting in proactive maintenance work and developing technical documentation
    • Translating high-level designs into technical specifications
    • Proficiency with Agile, iterative, and waterfall delivery models
    • Adaptability to new strategies and technologies

    Desired Skills and Abilities:

    • Advanced skills in developing tools and frameworks for software quality
    • Mentoring developers on software architecture
    • Understanding of contemporary systems and expertise in key technologies
    • Experience with commercial applications such as PeopleSoft or MS Dynamics
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field preferred
