    Responsible for:


    Be fully responsible for the quality of code for which the team is responsible (either through personal review or thoughtful delegation)Take full responsibility for delivering solutions into production (working through operations teams)Be responsible for training and mentoring developers on the team and recommending actions around capacity planning & career planning.

    Work with the technical project management to create and maintain a prioritized backlog and schedule for the teamBe responsible for architectural decisions in consultation with other members of the engineering leadershipProvide technical leadership to multiple teams of both in office/remote software engineers.

    Be able to diagnose and troubleshoot production problems.
    Identify technical risks to the sprint commitments early on and to ensure we meet business objectives.
    Review Pull Requests and do code reviews.
    Ensure clarity on NFR and address these requirements during the Architecture definition phase & make sure these are realized during the engineering and deployment phase


    Skills / Experience Required:
    8+ years of experience in core software developmentShould have experience working in product based companies building data products.

    Leading teams successfully in a dynamic, fast time to market and customer focused environmentWorking with small, agile development teams.3+ years of experience in architecting solutions with focus on server-side web applications, REST APIs, and / or microservicesShould have strong experience in working with Python and related technologies.

    Should have good experience on below technologies ○ Databases:

    MySQL, NoSQL (DynamoDB), Postgres, HBase ○ DevOps: Docker, Kubernetes, AirflowProficient in creating technical documents like Architecture views, Technology Architecture blueprint and design specificationExperience with Continuous Integration and Delivery using Azure DevOps or similarShould have experience in creating and managing Cloud infrastructure for deploying and scaling the application.

    Good experience in Data pipelines or distributed message queuesDB Index Management, Partitioning and System CatalogsPerformance tuning, Query tuning by generating and explaining plan for SQL queries.

    Knowledge and hands-on work experience in Docker is a must.
    Passion for software securityEagerness to learn new technology and solve problemsInclusive, roll-up-your-sleeves work ethic — show a willingness to participate in daily workloads when needed to meet deadlines
